Overview

A schedule for the virtual conference is now available! IMPS 2021 will be virtual, and the University of Bologna is the planned location for IMPS 2022 (IMPS 2022 flyer).

Important points for accessing the conference:

  • To attend any OnDemand or LIVE STAGE Sessions, all attendees must create an ExOrdo Account.
  • If you already have an ExOrdo account set up from your presentation/poster submission, simply log in with that existing account information. (The email on the existing account must be associated with the email you registered for the IMPS conference. If you registered with a different email address, please create a new ExOrdo account using that email address.)
  • In order to access the virtual platform, all attendees MUST ALSO download the Cisco WebEx Application.
  • After installing Cisco WebEx, all sessions will be launched automatically within Ex Ordo; visit this link. You should not attempt to launch sessions from within WebEx.

Virtual Platform Information

If you are an attendee/presenter, you must access the live event on a Windows or Mac laptop or desktop computer. Otherwise, you will NOT be able to access the live event.  Unfortunately, we learned only recently that the virtual platform will only work using a Windows or Mac system (it will NOT run on Linux).  We regret this limitation as an unfortunate consequence of our fast pivot to a virtual conference.

On-Demand Information

The on-demand feature in the ExOrdo system is now open and can be accessed after you log in to your ExOrdo account (https://event.imps2020.exordo.com/) under the “On Demand” option.  With the virtual setup, a significant part of the conference experience happens before the meeting itself, so we hope you will take time in the next two weeks to view the various presentations that have been uploaded.  Please note that the keynote and invited talks will only occur live, so there will not be presentation materials posted for these talks.

Presenter and Chair Information

If you are a presenter at the meeting, please confirm that the presentation materials you had uploaded appear under the On Demand menu.  If your presentation doesn’t appear (but you have uploaded your files), check to see that for your uploaded presentation you have highlighted the box under “Allow other attendees to view your presentation files?”  The check mark needs to be highlighted for the presentation files to become accessible.
