Biostatistics Core Continuing-Track Faculty Position, Open-Rank Professorship

The College of Health Sciences (CHS) at the University of Delaware seeks an experienced, innovative, and highly motivated individual for an open-rank, continuing-track (non-tenure) faculty appointment in the Biostatistics Core, beginning August 15, 2026. The candidate will serve as a key member of research teams across the College, supporting faculty research by providing expertise in study design, advanced statistical analysis, and collaboratively contributing to grant applications and research dissemination.
Experience in designing statistical approaches for clinical trials and complex/intensive longitudinal studies, and conducting data analysis, is highly desirable. Responsibilities include: (1) contributing to grant applications by conducting power/sample size calculations, developing analysis plans, drafting analysis sections, and serving as senior personnel; (2) recommending and performing novel or optimized analytic methods to ensure reproducibility, robustness, and scientific rigor; and (3) supporting manuscript and grant report development through data visualization and writing the methods and results sections. Experience with grant-funded projects is essential. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are critical for success in this key role, which involves collaborating with diverse research teams across the College.
