Datathon Format & Deliverables

Teams will collaborate over 10 days to analyze a dataset from the IRW and submit their findings. Please submit the final deliverables in a zip file through this Google Form including three components: (1) a written report, (2) analysis code, and (3) visualizations/slides.

Note: Please do not submit the materials more than once from the same team. If you do, only the first will be taken into full consideration. Each team can only submit one final report.

1. A written report should be formatted using Times New Roman 12 point with double spacing and one-inch margins, following the structure below:

   1. Cover page (one page maximum)

      1. Designated Team Lead’s name, email, and affiliation with a graduate program;
      2. Name of other team members and their affiliation with a graduate program;
      3. Name of the presenter (can be different from the team lead but must be one of the team members) and email.
   2. Description (five pages maximum)
      1. Research question
      2. Methodology
      3. Key findings
      4. Implications
   3. References, optional (one page maximum)
2. Analysis code to ensure reproducibility.
3. Visualizations or slides to effectively communicate insights.
