IMPS2023 Safety

COVID-19 Policy Statement

Updated: July 20, 2023

Overview

The safety of our attendees and presenters continues to be a top priority for the Psychometric Society. In making the decision to host a live meeting, we carefully weighed the risks and benefits and believe that, with the appropriate precautions, the IMPS 2023 Meeting can safely take place with minimal risk to our attendees.

At this time, mask wearing is only optional to IMPS attendees at any of the IMPS conference venue locations.

By attending and participating in IMPS 2023 Meeting you agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and, if you believe that you may be infected or exposed, to remove yourself from participation and interaction with others.

By attending this meeting, you agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Psychometric Society, its employees, officers, agents, contractors, local committee, sponsors, and sponsored venues, of and from any claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to my voluntary attendance at IMPS 2023 meeting, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in the IMPS Meeting.

As COVID-19 and other public health concerns continue to impact our lives, we will monitor any changes to the current situation and will modify our plan to provide the best balance between safety and accessibility. Updates, safety tips, guidelines, or requirements to attend the IMPS 2023 meeting will be posted here, as well as emailed to those who have registered for the Annual Meeting. Thank you.
