IMPS is the annual International Meeting of the Psychometric Society, a professional organization devoted to the development of psychology as a quantitative rational science, including the advancement of theory and methodology for behavioral data analysis in psychology, education, and the social and behavioral sciences generally.
IMPS Proceedings
Starting in 2012, the Psychometric Society has published a Proceedings volume for each Annual Meeting. Since the 2024 volume, the Proceedings have been published on an open-access platform and are freely available online.

Hosting IMPS
General Information
Annual Meetings of the Psychometric Society have been held since 1935. The meeting has come to be called International Meeting of the Psychometric Society (IMPS). The meetings have been held in many countries, including the United States, China, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, England, Japan, Chile, Italy, and Hong Kong, and are usually in June or July. Attendees and presenters typically come from about 30 different countries.
