Terry Ackerman is the new President-Elect of the Psychometric Society.

At the Business Meeting of the 2014 Annual Meeting of the Psychometric Society, it is announced that Terry Ackerman is the new President-Elect of the Psychometric Society. Terry Ackerman is professor the University of North Carolina - Greensboro. His research interests are educational measurement and the practical applications of item response theories. He has served as the Psychometric Society's Secretary for the past 23 years.

As Secretary, Terry Ackerman will be succeeded by Luz Bay (The College Board). The new Treasurer of the Psychometric Society is Daniel Bolt (University of Wisconsin-Madison). Newly elected Board of Trustees members are Anders Skrondal (Norwegian Institute of Public Health) and Andries van der Ark (University of Amsterdam).

Jeff Douglas (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) is newly elected as member of the Editorial Council.
